Isa 52:14: As many were astonished at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:

John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Above all powers above all kings
Above all nature and all created things
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man
You were here before the world began
Above all kingdoms above all thrones
Above all wonders the world has ever known
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth
There's no way to measure what You're worth

Above all...!

The following incredible description of the suffering Saviour is taken from From The Father's Heart by Charles Slagle.  If you should ever question God's love - often you hear people say if God is love why does He allow the suffering in the world? - then remember the cross upon which the Lord Jesus Christ died.  Read this account and remember...

I AM just, pure and holy.  My love is limitless and seeks not its own.  When those dark thoughts cloud your mind, causing you to question My love, I ask that you do one thing: remember the cross.
See it now.  See the One crucified.  See the humiliation, the horror of Innocence disrobed, mutilated and bleeding.  Pain racks His every atom.  Each gasp of air is agony untold.  His every nerve is a conduit of fire.
Can you hear Him cry?  No one else can either, but I can.  I hear it forever —  how could I forget it?  It’s almost the sound of a boy a stifled, intermittent cry it is...
No, child, don’t turn away.  Not yet. please.  Do you see the thorns piercing His brow?  The disfigurement of His face?  The spikes splitting His hands and His feet?  The jeering crowds at the foot of His cross?  They didn’t kill him.  They would have if they could have but they could not.  He gave  His life.  He shielded His enemies who were worthy of death by dying Himself in their stead.  He suffered murder to save His murderers.  He suffered shame to save His mockers, and He would do it again.  Again and again.   And so would I.  Is this not the destiny of Perfect Love in a fallen world?
This is the way love is and this is the way I AM.  Never forget it.

Isaiah 53: (Living Bible)
1. But, oh, how few believe it! Who will listen? To whom will God reveal his saving power?
2. In God's eyes he was like a tender green shoot, sprouting from a root in dry and sterile ground. But in our eyes there was no attractiveness at all, nothing to make us want him.
3. We despised him and rejected him a man of sorrows, acquainted with bitterest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way when he went by. He was despised and we didn't care.
4. Yet it was our grief he bore, our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, for his own sins!
5. But he was wounded and bruised for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace; he was lashed--and we were healed!
6. We every one of us have strayed away like sheep! We, who left God's paths to follow our own. Yet God laid on him the guilt and sins of every one of us!
7. He was oppressed and he was afflicted, yet he never said a word. He was brought as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he stood silent before the ones condemning him.
8. From prison and trial they led him away to his death. But who among the people of that day realized it was their sins that he was dying for--that he was suffering their punishment?
9. He was buried like a criminal, but in a rich man's grave; but he had done no wrong, and had never spoken an evil word.
10. But it was the Lord's good plan to bruise him and fill him with grief. However when his soul has been made an offering for sin, then he shall have a multitude of children, many heirs. He shall live again and God's program shall prosper in his hands.
11. And when he sees all that is accomplished by the anguish of his soul, he shall be satisfied; and because of what he has experienced, my righteous Servant shall make many to be counted righteous before God, for he shall bear all their sins.
12. Therefore I will give him the honors of one who is mighty and great, because he has poured out his soul unto death. He was counted as a sinner, and he bore the sins of many, and he pled with God for sinners.

Hebrews 2:3:
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

Please take the time and the trouble to fully understand just how powerful and precious the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ is.

Know for sure that the Blood of Jesus has infinite power and is of infinite value to God.

Also understand that, because of the Blood Covenant that God made between Himself and man using nothing less than the Blood of His Son, there is nothing more valuable that you can do with your time than sincerely asking God to fully impart to you the revelation knowledge and understanding of the Blood of Jesus and to work in you the full release of its power.

The full revelation will take all of eternity to take in - that is because the revelation of the God's Own Blood is the revelation of God Himself and is therefore infinite.  It is this Blood that was shed for us !!!

In the words of Andrew Murray in his wonderful book "The Power of the Blood of Jesus" :

"The blood of Jesus Christ has broken open the gates of the grave, and of hell, to let Jesus out, and us with Him;  so it has opened the gates of Heaven for Him, and us with Him, to enter.

The blood has an almighty power over the kingdom of darkness, and hell beneath; and with the kingdom of heaven and its glory above....

Since it avails so powerfully with God and over Satan, does it not avail even more powerfully for man, for whose sake it was actually shed?"

Andrew Murray wraps it up beautifully by saying in the same book:
"All the wonders of grace are focused here the Incarnation, by which He took upon Himself our flesh and blood; the love, that spared not itself but surrendered itself to death; the righteousness, which could not forgive sin till the penalty was borne; the substitution, by which He the Righteous One, atoned for us the unrighteous; the atonement for sin, and the justification of the sinner, thus made possible; renewed fellowship with God; together with the cleansing, and sanctification, to fit us for the enjoyment of that fellowship; the true oneness in life with the Lord Jesus, as He gives us His blood to drink; the eternal joy of the hymn of praise, "Thou hast redeemed us to God"; all these are but rays of the wondrous light which are reflected upon us from 'The Precious Blood of Jesus'.

The main question however is this:
Will you state that He never existed?
Will you simply say He was a good man who did good things?
Will you say His message is not relevant to our enlightened age?
Would you buy a car without first finding out the facts relevant to that car?
Would you invest money in a venture without first finding out details of that organization?
Would you get married without first finding out more about the individual with whom you pledge your entire life?

Your answer would probably be NO  to each of these questions.
First, I am sure you will agree that your life here on earth will not go on and on.   Any funeral director can attest to that fact.   Any nurse or doctor can tell you that physical life on this earth someday ceases for each of us.
Second, if you have examined world conditions very carefully, you will admit that the world is certainly not getting better    Scientists even acknowledge the fact that the next 30 years will give us more complex problems in population growth, in famine, in crime, and in war.
Third, money (or lack of it) will not cure your ills nor the ills of the world.   Even if the wealth were spread out more evenly it would not resolve the problems.
Fourth,  the permissive use of drugs and sexual freedom from the moral code will not build a better world.
Then what can you do?
Well, you can simply choose to ignore Christ and the Scriptures… go on living your life, doing the best you know how to meet your problems, work and provide an income for your family, set aside a nest egg for retirement ….
What happens when it comes time for you to depart from this earth?
There is a mere step from here to eternity.
It takes NO DECISION  on your part to go to Hell!
It does take a DECISION  on your part, however, to go to Heaven?
He that believeth on Him is not condemned:
But he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (John 3:18)
Here are five basic observations in the Bible of which you should be aware:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16)
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,  and I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened (Revelation 20:12)
At the name of Jesus every knee should bow (Philippians 2:10)
We shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ (Romans 14:10)
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened … (Revelation 20:12)
Right now, in simple faith, you can have the wonderful assurance of eternal life.
Ask yourself, honestly, the question …. WHAT WILL I DO WITH JESUS?
Will you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour and Lord or will you reject Him?
If you do not accept Him as your Lord and Saviour now you will face Him as your judge
God tells us the following:
.. him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out (37)
Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believeth in me (Christ) hast everlasting life” (47)  (John 6:37)
He also is a righteous  God and a God of indignation to those who reject Him…
.. he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God  (John 3:18)
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire  (Revelation 20:15)
Because sin entered the world and because God hates sin, God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross to pay the price for your sins and mine.
If you place your trust in Him, God will freely  forgive you of your sins.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves:  it is the gift of God (8)
Not of works, lest any man should boast”  (Ephesians 2:8,9)
… He that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation: but is passed from death unto life”  (John 5:24)
What about you?   Have you accepted Christ as your personal Saviour?
Do you realize that right now you can know the reality of this new life in Christ Jesus.   Right now you can dispel the doubt that is in your mind concerning your future.   Right now you can ask Christ to come into your heart.   And right now you can be assured of eternal life in heaven.
All of your riches here on earth – all of your financial security – all of your material wealth, your houses, your land will crumble into nothingness in a few years.
And as God has told us:
As it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment  (Hebrews  (27)
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many;  and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation”  (Hebrews 9::27,28)
Are you willing to sacrifice an eternity with Christ in Heaven for a few years of material gain that will lead to death and destruction?
One is no fool to give up the temporal for that which is eternal?

Do you know without a shadow of a doubt that you are on the road to Heaven– that death is not the end of life but actually the beginning of the wonderful existence that will ever be – a life with the Lord Jesus Christ and with your friends, your relatives, and your loved ones who have accepted Christ as their Saviour?

“Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by Me ( John 14:6)

It is not a difficult thing to do.   So many religions and so many people have tried to make the simple Gospel message of Christ complex.   You cannot work your way into heaven – heaven is a gift of God to those who believe in Jesus Christ.

What must you do to be saved?

You must come to Him in prayer realizing all that He has done for you on the Cross.   Confess that you are a sinner and that you need Him to forgive you.   Tell him that you believe that His Son Jesus Christ died on the Cross to pay the penalty for your sin.   Ask for His forgiveness and invite Him into your life as your Lord and Saviour.   God will respond to you and be a part of your life forever.    Repent and know His forgiveness.   Will you do it now?

Here is a simple prayer that may help to guide you as you pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,  come to You, confessing that I have sinned and broken your laws.   I am sorry for my sin, and believe that Jesus Christ came to earth to die for me and my sin.   Please forgive me.   I invite You into my life, and give Jesus Christ the right to control the rest of my life.   Please help me to be what You want me to be.   Thank you for saving me and accepting me.   I pray this in Jesus Name.   Amen.
